Herkimer County Prevention Council maintains a dedicated phone line that is available during the hours of
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays.

Calls may include but are not limited to inquiries about  AA, Al-Anon, and NA meetings  as well as   
questions related to finding services to alleviate an alcohol, drug or gambling problems.            

 Information and Referral also includes  
written materials, i.e. brochures,   
booklets, flyers, covering most subjects
related to prevention of alcohol/drug
use, tobacco use and gambling problems.

The Prevention Council maintains a
comprehensive video library covering the
same subjects. These materials are used
in the school settings as well as in the  
community at presentations and health
fairs.
