


| Information & Referral Herkimer County Prevention Council maintains a dedicated phone line that is available during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays. 315-894-8080 Calls may include but are not limited to inquiries about AA, Al-Anon, and NA meetings as well as questions related to finding services to alleviate an alcohol, drug or gambling problems. |
Information and Referral also includes written materials, i.e. brochures, booklets, flyers, covering most subjects related to prevention of alcohol/drug use, tobacco use and gambling problems. The Prevention Council maintains a comprehensive video library covering the same subjects. These materials are used in the school settings as well as in the community at presentations and health fairs. |
